SCS was founded in 1996 from the transformation of the "Consorzio di Igiene Urbana" (Urban Hygiene Consortium) into a joint stock company. Each of the 57 Municipalities that form our company is a member of SCS, which manages the service entrusted by the "Consorzio Canavesano Ambiente". SCS provides urban ground hygiene services, as well as waste collection and transport, to about 108,000 inhabitants in this territory.

For the Caluso Center, more involved in closures, we have planned an extraordinary opening in the CDR Strambino on the day of 03/08 in the afternoon (13.30-18.15).

On the occasion of San Savino, Patron of the city of Ivrea, the administrative offices, the 800 number and the secretariat of Società Canavesana Servizi will remain closed.
Instead, most operational services will be guaranteed in progress on the day of July 7, with the exception of delivery/ replacement of equipment and cleaning services/ ground hygiene.
For the day 30 June 2021 is proclaimed the general strike regarding all the workers of the environmental section. There may be disruptions in the waste collection, but some essential services will be guaranteed such as waste collection in schools, residential care, hospitals, railway stations, etc.

Today the citizens of Tavagnasco, Salerano, Villareggia, Mazzè, Cuceglio, Azeglio, Burolo, Candia Canavese, Samone Canavese and soon also those of San Martino Canavese.
The data confirm in these municipalities a reduction in the percentage weight of undifferentiated waste from 15 to 50%: a more sustainable environment and greater attention to separate collection!

The verification and control of the plastic and metal packaging waste produced by companies in our territory has been completed.
Out of 862 monitored companies, 231 (27%) do not properly use the container or insert wrong waste.
On the occasion of the holiday of 2 June, the waste collection service will not be carried out, with the exception of the Municipality of Ivrea where the collection of street glass and plastic and mixed waste is confirmed. On the calendar and times of waste collection web page for each Municipality, it is possible to view the days in which the paper collection will be recovered.
The activity will resume regularly in each municipality, with the usual calendar, from 3 June.
Due to a technical problem, all the data relating to the bulky waste bookings fixed by May 07 and scheduled until June 30 have been lost. We therefore ask all users to contact the free number 800 159040 to remember the booking date already set. We apologize for the inconvenience.
