In the area of using rubber dust from end-of-life tires in road pavements, the Metropolitan City of Turin is a partner in the project "RElevant Audience Plan Leanding to Awareness Network for CIrcular Economy Use of Recycled TYre Materials in City LIFE", included in the framework of Green Public Procurement.
The project will last 42 months, from 01/01/2022 to 30/06/2025.
The amount of waste from packaging is at an all-time high, and it is only set to increase. This is confirmed by a report from Eurostat that examines trends in packaging waste generation in the 27 countries of the European Union plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein over the period from 2009 to 2020.
