Today, October 16, 2019, is the World Food Day celebrating the founding of FAO, established in Quebec (Canada) in 1945. The theme addressed in this 2019 edition is "Our actions are our future. Healthy diets for a #ZeroHunger world". Among the many comments, that of our Italian Minister of Agriculture, Teresa Bellanova, who expressed herself as follows "We want to work to reduce food waste, support a circular economy, fight hunger, fight inequalities. The fight against food waste is a our unavoidable goal. Only in Italy is food waste worth 12 billion."
