If you need to dispose of LARGE HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES (washing machines, refrigerators ...) you can send them to collection centers or use, if provided for in your Municipality, the FREE OR PAYMENT COLLECTION SERVICE AT HOME.

WEEE can also be provided by ELECTRONIC PRODUCT RETAILERS: if they are large (washing machines, refrigerators ...) the retailer is obliged to collect an old appliance free of charge for each new appliance purchased of the same type, even if of a different brand; if they are small appliances, computers, telephones, etc., the retailer, in the case of shops of at least 400 square meters, is obliged to collect them free of charge without having to purchase them. For small distributors and online sellers, collection is optional.

  •     opt for refills and durable packaging with returnable packaging.

To prevent (organic refusal)

Pay close attention to the labels and the expiry date of the food: remember that if the wording on the label is "preferably consume by ..." you can consume that food even a few days after the date indicated, while if the wording is " consume by ... " the food will be thrown away when it expires.

If you need to dispose of LARGE HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCES (washing machines, refrigerators ...) you can send them to collection centers or use, if provided for in your Municipality, the FREE OR PAYMENT COLLECTION SERVICE AT HOME.

WEEE can also be provided by ELECTRONIC PRODUCT RETAILERS: if they are large (washing machines, refrigerators ...) the retailer is obliged to collect an old appliance free of charge for each new appliance purchased of the same type, even if of a different brand; if they are small appliances, computers, telephones, etc., the retailer, in the case of shops of at least 400 square meters, is obliged to collect them free of charge without having to purchase them. For small distributors and online sellers, collection is optional.

Repair and reuse

Clothes, shoes, large and small appliances, and all durable items can be repaired for reuse, often with little expense. Sports clothing and shoes can also be repaired: find out at your local shop (or rely on a craftsman found on the Internet).

To donate

All durable items can be donated if they are still usable, repairable or still in their original packaging, such as clothing, home textiles, household appliances, furniture and consumer products. Donation can take various routes: from exchange between friends and/or acquaintances to charity.

To sell

Clothing, home textiles, household appliances, furniture and all other durable items in good condition can be sold at the various flea markets or on one of the various dedicated platforms.
