Webinar ‘Reducing Food Waste: The Key Role of Public Administrations’

The European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) has reached its 16th edition this year!

The theme of SERR 2024 is food waste, a thematic focus already used in 2014, and was chosen to address the issue of growing food waste. Every year, tonnes of food end up unnecessarily in the waste stream, causing environmental damage and wasting valuable resources.  How can you promote a culture of waste prevention and responsible waste management within your community? Public administrations, oriented towards looking after the interests of the community, play a crucial role in raising awareness and involving citizens and local actors to implement sustainable change.

On 23 July from 14:30 to 16:00, the webinar Reducing food waste: the key role of Public Administrations will be broadcast.

Access is free after registering at the following link https://streamyard.com/watch/sCkadWUytTFH

Attending this webinar will inspire you to organise effective initiatives in your region, city, municipality or university. Don't miss concrete examples of good environmental practices to organise your action during the European Week for Waste Reduction in November.
