"Get Out of Your Comfort Zone" is the slogan with which the Città Metropolitana di Torino promotes the 221 volunteer opportunities in the region.
The aim of the Servizio Civile Universale is to train young volunteers and facilitate their integration into the world of work, offering a wide range of projects, with a minimum duration of 8 months and a maximum of 12. Anyone between the ages of 18 and 28 can participate. In addition to the opportunity to learn skills and gain experience, the volunteer will be guaranteed a monthly allowance of 444.30€.
Among the Servizio Civile opportunities offered by the Città Metropolitana di Torino, the "Pianeta Verde" project is particularly noteworthy, in which 4 posts are available at the Integrated Waste Cycle and Circular Economy Office and 2 posts at the Landfill and Remediation Office.
The Integrated Waste Cycle and Circular Economy Office is promoting a 12-month project that offers volunteers the opportunity to process and disseminate data on waste production and separate waste collection and to manage and update the website Beataladifferenziata.it, the web app latuadifferenziata, as well as the waste-related pages on the institutional website of the Città Metropolitana di Torino. In addition, volunteers will structure and implement projects with the aim of promoting waste reduction and sustainable consumption.
The Servizio Civile represents for many young people an opportunity to get involved in the first person. In 2021 Italy counted as many as 49,984 young people becoming volunteer operators in a wide range of sectors.
Aspiring volunteer operators must submit the On-Line Application (DOL) by 14:00 on 10 February 2023.
