"Treasure hunt in our homes": the University of Turin launches a study on WEEE.

Blenders, remote controls, joysticks, chargers, but also light bulbs, electric cables and so on. Who among us does not have some of these objects at the bottom of a drawer, often no longer usable? All these small waste, which are part of the large family of WEEE (Waste from Electrical and Electronic Equipment) together with washing machines, televisions, PCs, smartphones and so on, must be disposed of in the most correct way, not only for greater environmental protection but also because, if properly treated, they are recyclable up to over 95% of their weight. The University of Turin has launched a research, aimed at all citizens, with the aim of exploring the attitude of Italians towards waste disposal activities and WEEE in particular. To participate, simply fill in the dedicated questionnaire; the data are collected anonymously and the results will be processed in aggregate form in full compliance with privacy laws and used solely for scientific or educational purposes. If you want to know more about WEEE and how to dispose of it in the most correct way, consult our Waste Dictionary, typing the name of the waste you are looking for.
