SCS was founded in 1996 from the transformation of the "Consorzio di Igiene Urbana" (Urban Hygiene Consortium) into a joint stock company. Each of the 57 Municipalities that form our company is a member of SCS, which manages the service entrusted by the "Consorzio Canavesano Ambiente". SCS provides urban ground hygiene services, as well as waste collection and transport, to about 108,000 inhabitants in this territory.

On the occasion of the November 1, 2023 holiday, the waste collection service will not be provided. In the following Municipalities, however, will be regularly carried out exclusively in the morning from 6.00 to 12.00: - Ivrea collection services for unsorted waste, glass and street plastic; - Banchette unsorted waste collection services. Reservations for the home collection of bulky waste may not be made by phone from 14.00 on 25/09/2023 for computer updates. The service will resume regularly on 26/09/2023. We apologize for the inconvenience.
On 14 August the offices (toll-free number, secretariat and administration) will remain closed and that collection services will not be carried out on 15 August.
