On Wednesday 21 May 2025, at Piazza Borgo Dora in Turin, the initiative ‘Le Rose e il Pane’ (Roses and Bread) will take place, a day dedicated to raising awareness on the issues of well-being, sustainability and food waste reduction.
The event is part of a path to promote sustainable practices at an individual and collective level, with a focus on the prevention of organic waste and the valorisation of resources through reuse and anti-waste cooking.
The day will be divided into three main moments:
From 5pm to 6pm there will be an open kundalini yoga class, led by Antonio Rava / Nam Ranjeet. The activity is open to allə and, if possible, it is recommended to bring your own mat.
From 6.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. there will be a practical introduction to mother yeast, by Isabella De Vecchi (Panacea), with distribution of mother dough to participants.
From 7.30 p.m. to 9 p.m., a sustainable aperitif will follow, with bread and cream tasting by the Ecomora kitchen, in collaboration with Panacea.
In the event of bad weather, the event will be held at the Cortile del Maglio
