A delegation coming from the Ethiopian city of Awassa carried out in the last few days a study visit in the territory of the Metropolitan city of Torino. The visit was foreseen within the framework of the Development Cooperation Project "100%PLASTICA: intervention for the development of the plastic waste collection and recycling sector in Awassa", financed by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, in which some offices of the metropolitan City also actively participated. During their stay, the delegates were able to learn not only about the main aspects of national and local governance in the integrated management of solid urban waste, but also to "touch" some of the most interesting and active plants in the area.
