The fashion industry, especially in recent years, is characterised by a significant environmental impact: from production, to distribution, to use and until it becomes waste. Thanks in part to consumer pressure, the fashion system is beginning to talk about sustainability and the circular economy. At the beginning of March 2021, this was discussed at "La moda si fa verde", a forum on sustainable development in the fashion industry organised by Green&Blue, Repubblica's platform dedicated to the great challenges of sustainability and innovation.
