Not waste to throw away without thinking about it but valuable goods that, often with minimal repairs, return to being usable for many years. The RAI broadcast "Che ci faccio qui" recently offered a replica of a service produced at Astelav in Vinovo which, with the Ri-generation project, gives new life to washing machines, dishwashers and refrigerators, repairing them and putting them back on the market. The project started a few years ago with only one employee and today it already employs 15: mostly technicians with great experience who, in the past, have been expelled from the world of work. The values on which this initiative is based marry many of the principles of the circular economy, aiming at a new way of conceiving responsible socio-economic development: in addition to the correct treatment of household appliances, also the protection of the environment and the creation of work for people in need.
