The fight against the food waste, as well as new and perfectly usable goods but - for various reasons - destined for disposal, is one of the issues on which the legislation has recently focused its attention. In order to address the serious situation of need that especially the most fragile people are facing these days, the Decree Law no. 9 of March 2, 2020, has provided that, in addition to food and medicines, traders and producers will also be able to donate other goods. Clothing, toys, household appliances and electronics products, not suitable for marketing but new and functioning, can be sold to non-profit organizations in a simpler way and without tax burden.
